My name is Amie Bane, and my husband Tim and I are the owners of Lone Star Taxidermy. I started doing taxidermy in 2001 and opened this business in 2002. I previously worked with my husband managing a trophy deer ranch where my passion for working with game animals moved me into the taxidermy business. Starting with a few whitetail's the first year, I have grown to doing a large amount of African game, Elk, Bear, Ducks, small mammals, Exotics, and of course Whitetail deer. Although the Whitetail deer makes up a large part of my business, the western big game animals are my true specialty.
